Measurement Standards

The physical performance of zippers can be measured and determined in a variety of ways, depending on zipper types and desired end use or applications. There are several internationally accredited Test Standards that we zipper manufacturers and suppliers refer to, including but not limited to:

  • ASTM D2051-D2054, D2057-D2062 (USA)
  • BS3084 (UK)
  • DIN3416-3149 (Germany)
  • JIS3015 (Japan)
  • QB/T2171-2173 (China)

Zippers sold on E-Zermuar.cam are subject to the above-mentioned standards along with our internally established Test Standard. We always conduct various tests in strict accordance with these standards to ensure more satisfactory physical performance in the manufacturing process of zippers.

Test items and test methods may vary from country to country and from customer to customer. The table below shows the methods regularly tested to evaluate the physical performance of E-zipper.com zippers as well as their respective applications.

Note : Terminology may differ according to different Test Standards. Please refer to the images below for better understanding.
